Based on the scientific literature, humic acids are beneficial for the intestines in many ways:

Product is rich in water-soluble, prebiotic fiber, which helps the gut microbiota to develop and function better.

The pH of the colonic contents decreases, preventing or slowing down the growth of harmful bacteria.

In the intestine, more butyric acid is produced, which is beneficial for the intestinal mucosa.

In the intestine, less branched chain volatile fatty acids are produced, which are a sign of harmful fermentation of amino acids.
